Children’s Museums

Is your child tired of sitting in the car on vacation?  If your child does not want to stand in line at the world’s most popular theme park, then try a children’s museum.  Read on

Children’s museums may vary in quality.  But, there are excellent children’s museums close to home and the biggest plus is that they are fun for parents also.
Children’s museums may have different themes.  But, they should be interactive and allow children to run (literally run) from one experience to another.  

Recently,  my family tried out the downtown San Diego New Children’s Museum .  It is three stories of fun for everyone in your family.  There are so many exhibits designed for expression, exercise and adventure, that afterward, the whole family will need a nap!

Close to our home is the Science Museum Oklahoma.  Again, we had another great day following our granddaughter from one interactive fun exhibit to another.
The only warning I have been given is that if you go on a rainy day, it may be very crowded with children who need to run!
